Since Mattel introduced Hot Wheels die cast cars in 1968, millions of children worldwide have enjoyed playing with and collecting America’s top selling brand of toy car. Today, Hot Wheels cars are as popular with children as they ever were, and auction websites abound with classics from the past. Depicting cars from the nationally known collection of Lance Joseph, author Mac Reagan’s color photography presents the 33-year history of Hot Wheels from a child’s-eye view.
